Laserforce Detroit will be hosting their second Space Marines 5 Invitational Tournament January 9th to January 11th.
Practice night is January 8th.
Cost is $60/person and that includes the practice night and the awards dinner.
International Rules will be used, as well as the full field. The full field thing is new as typically Detroit has only used the bottom floor and their ramps for SM5 in the past.
The big difference in this tournament from others in the past is the positions will be done via random draw before each game, so there could be some VERY interesting match-ups.
If you don’t have a full team of 6, feel free to post in the tournament forum to find a team. The more the merrier.
I actually just saw this, and part of it bugs me. LF Detroit has done the last 3 of it's 4 tournies with the full field. 2009 nats was the only time we ever did 1st floor plus ramps, and that was just because the people in charge of voting on that, from our site, were dumb. Really really dumb. It has been a little over 3 years since we played that way.
